Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Director of Administration
YONER Liberia
The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Director of Administration and co-facilitates the efficient operation of YONER Liberia. The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and clerical duties, including supporting department heads and team members in carrying out their duties and responsibilities and ensure all administrative duties are performed effectively.
- Assist the Director of Administration on all duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and Department Heads on administrative and operational matters.
- Preparing reports and developing and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Coordinating meetings (invitations, agenda and minutes), travel and events arrangements and logistics.
- Support the Director of Administration and Technical and Operations Associate in office procurement processes.
- Supporting the Directors of Administration and Programs in recruiting and on-boarding new employees to the organization.
- Support the program and business development teams for the research, design, execution and reporting of program and business development activities.
- Supporting the budget development, expensing and organizing processes.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative role
